Description
The Datsun 1600 PL510 first hit the streets in 1968. In just a short few years it would stake its claim to road and street racing glory. How about doors? You could have two, four or a wagon. Coupe or sedan? Whatever the combo there were a few commonalities. Light weight, four wheel independent suspension, rear wheel drive and a four speed manual. The tiny dynamo L motor that in 1.6 liter form could product right around 100hp. Tuned with dual SU or Mikuni carbs this little motor could really scream.
This shirt pays homage to the canyon carving past of this Japanese Bluebird and plays off the theme of advertising that was printed for the car back in the early 70s.
